While working on the concept of individualization in Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) we decided to design the experimental university course
based on gamified approach and to deliver it in order to check how that concept would work in practice. In the spring semester in 2014 the first course (led by Maria Zając) was conducted, and then in Autumn semester the first course was repeated and another one (designed by Magdalena Andrzejewska) was added. Both courses were aimed at computer science undergraduate students. The real courses are stored on the internal MOODLE platform at the Chair of Computer Science and Computational Methods (Pedagogical University of Cracow, Poland) and because they contain the real data cannot be opened to the public.
But as we learned from that experiment that defining the gamified and individualized structure of the course is not an easy task we decided to create a sample course structure and publish it on the Moodle platform assigned to the project. The sample course structure was prepared in task 4 and it can be viewed at: http://mzajac.unixstorm.org/moodle/course/view.php?id=13 Anyone interested in viewing the sample course can ask for the access data by writing an e-mail to: email@example.com
